2021 Annual Checks

All five cabinets and defibrillators have today received their annual checks as required by CHT. The cabinets were cleaned and polished and locks lubricated. All devices are fully functional.

New Batteries

All five village defibrillators were fitted with new batteries and electrode pads this morning. This has returned them to 'As New' status. Sutton Scotney Fire Station device

The device was obtained from outside Sutton Scotney Fire Station following an emergency call to the Ambulance Service. However, due to prompt arrival of an ambulance our defib was not used. It has now been checked, sanitised and returned to its cabinet to remain 'Rescue Ready'.

Beating COVID

In spite of COVID-19 all of our volunteers are continuing to check our devices and cabinets to ensure that they remain rescue-ready. Appropriate disinfection materials are being used.
