All 5 of our village defibrillators have now been fitted with fresh batteries and sets of electrode pads. They are once again in 'as new' condition. Please make sure that you know the location of your nearest device. You never know when you can fetch one to help save a life!

New Equipment

Delivery today from CHT of 5 new batteries and 5 sets of electrode pads which will soon be fitted to the defibrillators in all 5 villages. The total cost was £1360 which has been met from our (sinking) maintenance fund.

2024 AGM

Annual Checks

Annual Checks were carried out today on all five of our defibrillators and cabinets as required by CHT. Cabinets were cleaned and polished and the locks lubricated. Generally they are in excellent condition and are rescue ready 24/7.

Fault Reported

Added at 09:50 on 26 January 2024

A fault was reported by Vicky as the ready light on the cabinet was showing red. Inside the cabinet the circuit board was flashing blue. The power supply was disconnected from the circuit board which reset the electronics. This returned the ready light to green.
